Béatrice Gaudreault-Laplante has been studying Théâtre Musical (Master Composition & Theory) at Hochschule der Künste Bern since 2014. In 2009 Béatrice moved to Europe to study with Éric Speller. In 2012 she received her Master´s Diploma from Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin. Béatrice collaborates with various ensembles in Europe, like Berliner Symphoniker, Walliser Kammerorchester, European Camerata, Kammerorchester Potsdam. She played in KKL Lucerne, Berlin Philharmonie, Gewandhaus Leipzig, with Sir Simon Rattle, Heinz Holliger, Pierre Boulez, and Peter Eötvös. In 2012 and 2014, she was Akademist at Ensemble Intercontemporain at LucerneFestival, and at Ensemble Moderne and Klangspuren Festival (Austria).
Béatrice held three grants: with Conseil des Arts du Canada, Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec and Offices Jeunesse Internationaux du Québec. In 2009 she won 1st price at Concours International de l’UFAM in Paris, in 2005 and 2007 1st price at Canada Music Competition. In 2012-2013 she coached youth orchestra atMusikschule Neu Brandenburg (Germany). In 2007-2008 she held the position of oboe teacher at Collège Notre-Dame de Montréal and Collège Saint-Luc. Béatrice had her first oboe lessons at the age of 14 at the Conservatoire de Musique de Québec with Philippe Magnan and in 2008 she obtained her Bachelor Diploma at Conservatoire de Musique de Montréal with Lise Beauchamp.
