Zuzana Režná is currently studying for her MA degree in Lighting Design at the Theatre Faculty of Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno (JAMU), and has taken part in many productions by the school’s Physical Theatre program in the course of her studies. She has also collaborated on Belgian choreographer Karine Ponties’ production of Pisum Sativum, taken part in on-going workshops by the Institute of Lighting Design in Prague, and studied Art, Music & Dance Studies and Communication at Paris Lodron Universität in Salzburg with the Erasmus program. She also underwent a seven-month internship with Sasha Waltz & Guests in Berlin. She is currently collaborating with a newly established physical-theatre company tYhle, providing it with lighting designs for Umbilikus by Florent Golfier and UN by Marie Gourdain. She also collaborates with Marta Kuczyńska in Poland and with the Swedish group Svalbard Company.
