Eva Marie Gieslová graduated in singing at Brno Conservatoire and is currently studying solo singing with Eva Dřízgová-Jirušová at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Ostrava. She is a member of National Moravian-Silesian Theatre’s opera ensemble and Canticum Ostrava; her performances with the latter ensemble include G.F. Haas’s … for viola and 6 voices at Hudební současnost 2016. She has a distinguished history of collaboration with Brno composers, especially Pavel Zemek-Novák. Her NODO debut came in 2016 with Petr Cígler’s opera Protracted Sinuous Movement of a Longitudinal Object. She has long been performing in a duo with Aneta Podracká-Bendová.
