Małgorzata Hlawsa is a graduate of The Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in the class of flute of Maria Grochowska. As a scholarship holder of Academie Musicale de Villecroze she developed her skills in the field of solo and chamber music under the guidance of Claire Gentilhomme, Mario Caroli, Craig Goodman and Armand Angster at the Conservatory of Strasbourg, where she completed her post-graduate studies with honors. She performed as a soloist and chamber musician at many festivals in Poland and all over the world. She collaborates with many orchestras in Poland (mainly with AUKSO Chamber Orchestra) and abroad. Hlawsa’s interests are focused around chamber music. In 2016, she was a scholarship holder of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as part of which a pedagogical publication entitled Textbook of contemporary flute techniqueswas created. Since 2011, she is a flute teacher at the music school named by Mieczysław Karłowicz in Katowice.
