All of the music on this release was recorded live during Ostrava Days 2011 Festival (August 26 – September 3, 2011). On a total 19 concert programs, the festival presented 91 compositions, the majority of them world premieres or Czech Republic premieres. The biennial Ostrava Days, begun in 2001, is based on the 3-week Institute (August 15 – September 3, 2011) and included 28 resident-students from Europe, North and South America and Asia. The student’s compositions are integral part of the festival’s program.
