The Library of the Ostrava Center for New Music was established in 2001 and opened to the public in 2003. The Library today comprises more than 600 music scores, 700 recordings, 237 books, and the archives and working materials of Ostrava Days Institute and Festival. Highlights of the Library´s collections include works by Christian Wolff, Alvin Lucier, Earl Brown and Petr Kotík as well as musical material from the current generation of young composers from Europe and the US.
