The orchestra will perform Petr Kotík's Fragment, Rafael Nassif's véus sobre cores (resident-student of Ostrava Days 2007 and 2009) and Galina Ustwolskaja‘s Symphony No. 1 with guest boy soloists Heldur Harry Polda (13) and Voldemar Kauts (11), both from Estonia (Tallinn). OCNM first collaborated with these talented singers during the musicadoy festival May 31 in Madrid. It´s a pleasure for us to present them also in Ostrava.
Alban Berg´s Violinkonzert will close the concert, performed by briliant soloist – violinist Hana Kotková, who regularly performs in Ostrava Center for New Music concerts. She presently lives in Lugano.
