All of the music on this release was recorded live during Ostrava Days 2009 Festival (August 20 – 29, 2009). On a total 16 concert programs, the festival presented 93 compositions, the majority of them world premieres or Czech Republic premieres. The biennial Ostrava Days, begun in 2001, is based on the 3-week Institute (August 10 – 30, 2009) and included 34 students from Europe, North and South America and Asia. The student’s compositions are integral part of the festival’s program.
