Táňa Vasilková
Táňa Vasilková (1996) is a student of the first year of composition at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in the class of Lukáš Borzík and she graduated in composition at the Conservatory in Bratislava under the tutelage of professor Ľuboš Bernáth. During her studies at Consevatory, she also won the certificate of merit in Competition of Conservatories in Slovak Republic for the piece Gloria for mixed choir. Nowadays, Vasilková participate at the festival of young composers Orfeus. Simultaneously, she studies conducting at Conservatory in Bratislava in Konstantin Ilievsky’s class. As a conductor, she is an intern at the string orchestra Technik, which is led by Mirko Krajči. In the past, she graduated in journalism and political science. Music is another way how she can express her views and believes to the world.
