Luke Stevenson
Luke Stevenson (1994) is a composer based in Ontario (Canada). His music is sensitive to time and colour. Often in the form of mixed instrumentation, his chamber works feature thin musical textures that float and invite the listener to follow subtle transformations of sound within a highly gestural musical environment. In 2019 he completed his Bachelor’s of Music degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, where he studied with Linda Catlin Smith. In 2021 he completed his Master’s in music composition at the University of Victoria, studying under Anna Höstman.
