Tereza Horáková
Tereza Horáková (1999, Prague) began playing violin at the elementary arts school in Hostivař under Ondřej Štochl and continued at the Prague Conservatory in Pavel Kudelásek’s class. She regularly attends international interpretation workshops (with Sophia Jaffé, and Cynthia Freivogel, among others). She has had a pointed interest in contemporary music interpretation since her childhood. She has appeared with Berg Chamber Orchestra and Ensemble Opera Diversa as a soloist. She is a member of Trio Helix. In 2021, she performed Karol Szymanowski’sViolin Concerto no. 1. In addition, Horáková is an active early music performer and the former concertmaster of Prague Conservatory’s Baroque Orchestra (artistic director Jakub Kydlíček). She regularly performs with Czech Baroque ensembles (Concerto Aventino, Collegium Marianum). She is currently studying at Carl Maria von Weber’s Hochschule für Musik in Natalia Prishepenko’s class.
