Anežka Nováková is a Brno Conservatory graduate in percussion. Last year, she successfully finished her BA studies at the Jazz Department of the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno, including a study-stay at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. She is currently attending Martin Opršál’s classes at JAMU’s percussion department. She regularly collaborates with professional orchestras, including The Moravian Philharmonic Orchestra Olomouc, Brno Philharmonic, National Theater Brno orchestra and the Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra. She is also an active contemporary music performer, e.g. with Brno Contemporary Orchestra or Ensemble Spectrum (Slovakia). As a soloist, she has performed with Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava and Janáček Academy Orchestra. She is a member of Moravia Brass Band, several Brno jazz bands and has successfully auditioned for Brno Philharmonic Orchestral Academy this year, earning a place for two seasons (starting September 2023).
