Nándor Vincze
Nándor Vincze is a Hungarian tubist active in contemporary music and orchestral performance. In 2025, he won first prize at the International Werner Pirchner Prize in Innsbruck and the Danubia Talents International Competition in Budapest. The same year, he gave the world premiere of Benedek Szabó's Meteor Tuba Concerto with the Era Nova Chamber Orchestra and performed at the Transparent Sound New Music Festival. He is a regular member of the Synchron Stage Vienna Studio Orchestra, contributing to international recording projects, and has performed with the Hungarian State Opera, the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra, Concerto Budapest Symphony Orchestra, Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Anima Eterna Brugge, and several other leading orchestras. He also studies jazz theory and improvisation with Dezső Oláh, complementing his classical background with a strong interest in improvisation and cross-genre performance. He holds Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Classical Tuba from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where he studied with Roland Szentpáli.
